I began working in the Waste Industry in 1989 as a Manager for a Multi-National Company. I managed a Hazardous Waste Transfer Station collecting, storing and disposing of waste which was collected throughout N. Ireland and Co. Donegal. I continued working in other branches of the industry until 2004 when I acquired my WAMITAB Assessor’s Award (A1) and began to work as an Assessor/Trainer for Practical Waste Solutions Ltd delivering training of Waste Management Diploma’s in levels 1-4 and Certificates of Technical Competence. I hold a Certificate of Technical Competence in both Managing Hazardous Waste and Managing Treatment of Hazardous Waste. I also possess a NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management.
I am a qualified Verifier (V1) and Waste Smart trainer for the Chartered Institute of Waste Management. I am qualified to deliver Driver Certificate of Competence on behalf of the Joint Approval Unit of Periodic Training or JAUPT as it is known.
